Kavita advanced features

When supported by the server and account, Kavita connections also provide custom home shelves, collections, cross-series reading lists, Smart Filters, CBL import/export, personal table-of-contents bookmarks, comic-page bookmarks, EPUB highlights and annotations, ratings, reviews, reading statistics, and server reading profiles.

These actions are controlled by the Kavita API and account permissions. Koharia does not turn unavailable server features into local-only features; offline changes can become pending sync records and may require conflict resolution.

Local format limits

Markdown supports headings, lists, blockquotes, code blocks, and outline navigation, but does not render embedded images; tables degrade to plain text and a file is limited to 16 MiB. MOBI, PRC, AZW, and AZW3 have experimental text support without DRM, complex layouts, or embedded images. DjVu depends on Android WebView WebAssembly support.
