Connections
Koharia stores each server or local folder as a separate library connection. Multiple connections can coexist and be switched from the shelf or connection management.
Connection isolation
Accounts, server settings, shelf caches, filters, and remote reading records are isolated by connection. Shared configuration keeps appearance and reader settings consistent across connections; separate configuration lets each connection keep its own settings.
Deleting a connection removes the configuration, index, and local state kept by Koharia. It does not delete server content or original files in an authorized folder.
Public and LAN addresses
Komga, Kavita, LANraragi, and smanga connections can use a public address plus an optional LAN address for the same service. On Wi-Fi, Koharia tries the LAN address first and falls back to the server address.
Both addresses must point to the same service and account. When a service has no stable identity, do not treat a changed address as a different server without verification; failed identity checks are not saved.
Switching connections safely
- Use clear names for different servers and accounts.
- Do not merge cache or download directories manually across accounts.
- After switching, verify the shelf and account before refreshing or starting a batch download.
- Reopen the relevant connection settings when its folder permission, address, or account changes.
